How it works
By combining the Monday bank holiday (August 31) with the following four work days (September 1, 2, 3, 4), you bridge the gap between two weekends.
- Sat 29 Aug - Mon 31 Aug: Bank Holiday Weekend (3 days off)
- Tue 1 Sept - Fri 4 Sept: Annual Leave (4 days used)
- Sat 5 Sept - Sun 6 Sept: Weekend (2 days off)
- Total: 9 consecutive days off
Regional Differences
Note that in Scotland, the Summer Bank Holiday is on **Monday, August 3rd**, while in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, it falls on **Monday, August 31st**. Make sure you check your local region before booking!
